| As [[the party]] moves along the storyline of this adventure, they will encounter a number of characters that make manifest the conflicts that face them. Each character has their own story and relationships with other characters, adding a real sense of personal urgency to the decisions at hand. Although the histories of the characters are describe here, their actions are not scripted, especially later in the campaign when so much depends on the activity of the players. Here, the main characters are briefly introduced, as well as their roll in the time frame the campaign takes place.

    * [[Rebel General Korirava]] a.k.a. [[Kuriruvu]] has renounced the Vu-Yunu and is leading the [[rebellion]].
       * [[Sasu]] played an important role in his conversion.

    * [[High Priest Sinusuvo]] leads the Vu-Yunu
    * [[Vokovi]] & [[Nusuvi]] are the escorts in the quest to the interior to rescue [[James]].
