Grey Lands

The Grey Lands are made distinctive by the process of death. As the corruption spreads into the green lands, the process of decay is unusually fast. As with any process of renewal, fungi and molds move in to do their job and recapture the life force of dying plant matter. It's this stage that characterizes the Grey Lands. As a result, theses areas are not the most comfortable or pleasant, but they are relatively peaceful. High Chromatic generally consider the strong odor of decaying vegetation to be one of the less tolerable features.
